nohkalikai falls located about 7.5 km from cherrapunji‎, it is one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in india where the water plunges 335m downwards. as this is rain fed falls, it dries up in months between december and february. as per local beliefs, the fall is named after a girl named ka likai who had leaped off the cliff next to this waterfall.
